Hi, I'm new to the game and I would like to know what are the meaning of MIPS optimal and MIPS overheat? Which type of AI is more suitable to what type of CPU?

I think stickers are good with nanotubes CPU because you can get cheaper CPU and AI in optimal range. I never get AI if exceeds CPU overheating limits.

Yeah Overheating must be avoided. Optimal is desired but not worth ruining your economy.

try quantum with the same level as the AI, very fast reaction and no overheat

try quantum with the same level as the AI, very fast reaction and no overheat true, but if you have a striker a quantum is completly unnecessary, as emilio said a nanotube is enough for them. You should not use the same level all the time, ie a gk III is optimal with a graphene IV, a gk VI doesn't overheat with an optical III etc... Quasi OPTIMAL with same level : Defender | Graphene | Kicker | Graphene | Striker | Nanotube | Goal Keeper | Quantum | Poly (don't use) | Graphene | Midfielder | Quantum | Winger | Quantum |
Non optimal but cheaper without overheat, same level : Defender | Nanotube | Kicker | Silicium | Striker | Nanotube | Goal Keeper | Silicium | Poly (no really !) | Nanotube | Midfielder | Silicium | Winger | Silicium |
So you see Silicium and Nanotube when you are poor, graphene and quantum when you are rich. Optical is never optimal, and you have to be rich, the consumption is very low, so it's a good choice for farming (playing many times). For instance if you have only one goal keeper, put an optical, he could do all the 5 matches of the 19 others bots, without charges.
