You lose some health with time all the time ! it was 0.1%/day long time ago, now it is 1%/day (edit after decepticons)
The health affect all your performance, don't let it too low
The cost of repair is proportional to the health (edited after Decepticons good note)
price to Repair =(1-Health)*(recommended Sell price)/Health
the formula is not accurate if you have bought a new equipment since the last level up, because the health of what you bought is 100%, but remains still a good approximation
Sell price/health = price of the neuron who is growing with equipment, the health doesn't change (and the repair price) if you buy something
The health turns back to 100% when you level up, so you don't need to repair your neurons as long as the level changes quickly (until level 16) !
When the health is > 95% a booster repairs with 0.5% + 0.5% if you consume it it is 0.45%+0.45% at 90% of health It is only 0.25%+0.25% if your health is around 60% !
thanks to BarbieCore who makes this study with me

It's 1% per day, and IIRC the formula is actually based off the recommended price (one of my strikers's recommended prices was 9999 creds and after 1 day repairs cost 100 creds) and not the minimum price.
So based off of my old striker, its 1% per day for health lost, and the sell value also decreases by 1 percent. A striker that sells at a recommended 9999 creds after 1 day will.be at 9899 creds recommended price and 99.0% health.

I believe Level 2 Boosters increase health by more than Level 1 Booster.
