After a win or a draw, you will gain credits.
If you win, then the combined total of both your team and the opponent teams' NWL is added together, and that is the amuont of credits you earn. For example, if two teams play eachother and have NWL's of 600 and 650, then a win will earn 1250 credits. (600 + 650 = 1250)
A draw earns both teams half the number of credits a win does. In the same example, both teams would win 625 credits (1250/2 = 625)
A loss earns 0 credits.
You can also earn credits by selling neurons on the market, either using the 'Direct Sale' which instantly sells the neuron for a cheap price, or on the market where another player buys the neuron.
You can also upgrade the 'Bleachers' facility which increases the credits you earn per game by 10% (per level). Upgrading to Level 10 means 100% increase in credits after each game.

So - as for the xp - you should be very happy to meet a higher NWL level, if you draw with him
If you lose, no crédits, but much more xp than if you meeted an lower NWL level guy
=> always thanks higher NWL to pay with you

People who play more matches but at around the same NWL probably have either a) Many neurons which they constantly switch meaning sometimes they play with bad neurons, sometimes good. b) Poor parts c) Poor formation d) Or you are just unlucky and they have recently improved their neurons and are gaining NWL (which rarely is the case). This means that even if they have played many more matches, they have disadvantages, or else they wouldn't be at your NWL (unless d or you are facing the 'good neurons' for a)

Fine I should clarify.. I never face higher nwl people I always face insanely over leveled people who have 10+ level neurons that have less nwl then me..

"Have you not seen the people who purposely lose to get low nwl so they can play lower level players."
Yes, many a time, and I hate them all, although the reason isn't so they can play lower levelled players, it is so they can still get XP without wasting time, charges or credits keeping up a good team, before eventually rising back up again and gaining even more XP/Credits with easy wins (which also helps gain Red Boosters).

A common misconception of players on neuronball is that if they play someone who is 5 levels or more higher than them that they will lose. This is only the case if that player has the same processors and batteries as you... I am playing with very low (for me) NWL points right now because it's the best way of making credits without spending too many fast charges. I play with U-PU batteries and optical processors. I have level 22 neurons. When I come up against someone with level 16 neurons and even lower that have AG-AU, I quite often lose. Many a time people have said in the chat 'Oh you're level 22 wtf, I've lost this then, stupid game' and they go on to win the match because they have AG-AU and quantum which out-weighs 6/7 levels. The only time I would win easily is if I switched to AG-AU to get back to the top, but that wouldn't happen very often otherwise I'd be wasting credits. So if you come up against a player with 1000+ games, check what processors and batteries they are using, there's a large chance they are worse than yours. "Have you not seen the people who purposely lose to get low nwl so they can play lower level players." Edit: And if you don't believe me, check out this game here that I am playing atm www.neuronball.com/en/game/985859/He has 1 lvl 14, 1 lvl 5, 2 lvl 16 and a lvl 17 neuron and atm he is destroying me 10-1 and guess what, his players have AG-AU and graphene.
